flyingmonkeyboy 0 #1 February 22, 2005 Hi everyone Im booked up to go on an AFF course in spain in April. I cant wait to go out there, but im also a little nervous about a few things as well. I completed a tandem about 6 months ago, this was fantastic and straight away I knew I had to learn to do this on my own. Unfortunately I did not get to fly the parachute, so im worried about messing it up. Are they hard to fly? Is it difficult getting onto a final approach into the wind and flaring when landing? Im probably worrying about nothing, and im sure they will answer all my questions on the AFF course, but any feedback on this will be much appreciated. Many thanks Apprentice Skydiver ;o)

There is a quote in skydiving that I was told when I was a newbie: "There is no such thing as a stupid question, only a stupid answer" Enjoy your AFF. Peej 0 #4 February 23, 2005 Welcome to Dropzone.com! My first jump was AFF Level 1, I'd never been on a skydive before, let alone flown a parachute. I remember it being a little scary, plus we don't use radio here in South Africa, just bats. Like Skymama said, ask questions and pay attention in your bfiefings and you'll be fine Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky
