Skyebo 0 #1 April 1, 2005 Hi all, Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to skydiving. Booked a tandem jump for my boyfriend's birthday and I couldn't resist going too. I'm keen to go again. I'm from Newcastle, Australia. Hope to be discussing the sport with you all soon. Skye

flyangel2 2 #3 April 1, 2005 Welcome to our world. When are you going to be able to make another skydive? My first skydive was a gift from my then boyfriend. He made about a dozen skydives and I stuck around and made a few more then him It's been years since I've seen him, wonder what ever happened to him.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
Skyebo 0 #4 April 1, 2005 Probably won't be able to look into doing the AFF course until spring, it's autumn here and pretty windy and rainy most days. We were thinking of going to Cairns in the next couple of months to do another Tandem jump as the weather will be kinder. Really don't know much about sky diving at all so we are reading up alot. It had been storming the whole week before the Good Friday when we did our tandem jump in Newcastle and it was the most beautiful clear day on that Good Friday. It was just meant to be. I couldn't think of a better gift to give, nothing tops that feeling.
Guest #5 April 2, 2005 Welcome to the skydiving, and welcome to the forums! I have a six year old niece (soooo precious) whose name is Skye which is why I've taken to using it in my tag line ... I feel for you on the weather part, I've been reading a lot also these past rainy weekends. Talked to manifest this afternoon and she said to come on down ... if we can fit in between the clouds we'll be jumping tomorrow .. fingers are crossed! Peace & Blue Skyes! Save the boobies You can have it good, fast, or cheap: pick two.
