ChrisL 2 #3 April 27, 2004 The difference is 2 cells Actually other than that it seems to be a matter of personal preference more than anything else. 9 cells have a higher aspect ratio and tend to have a flatter glide angle and are good for high performance designs. The 7 cells tend to be used more for accuracy as they tend to come in at a steeper angle than 9 cells. These are very hasty generalizations.
