Fantastic!!! I'm Hooked!!!

I finally did my first tandem jump this past saturday at Skydive City in Z-hills Florida. I have to say that I'm hooked. The whole experience was fantastic. The people are super nice and the jump was great. I did it for myself for my 18th b-day(almost 2 weeks belated), and as long as I've been flying planes it just doesn't compare to this. It was the first time I've ever felt free of everything, and like i was actually flying. My dad had hoped it would scare me away, but I'll be going through the Aff course this winter. Hey dude, congrats on your first jump and welcome to the forums!

I remember calling my mom and telling her that i was gonna head out and do an AFF course and she also hoped that i'd do one and never do another. Yeah right, i was also hooked!

Stick with it, you'll learn loads on the forums and will be able to ask a lot of questions here that will better prepare you.

Yeah i was hooked on my first jump too isn'nt it crazy and going for my second soon iwas supposed to go last Saturday but my father inlaw passed away . It is an adrenalin rush like never before, my mom doesn't like the idea either she is scared for me but i guess someone has to be.

lol, mine was the same way. I actually told her after taking her out to dinner for her birthday, she said "why do you wanna ruin my night?" and smacked me

she didnt wanna know the day i was going, so the day I went afterwards I came home and just handed her my certificate they gave me

i'll probably go this weekend for my SL course, I felt the exact same way you did on my tandem....i guess Enchanted is a good word for it.

Yeah my mom didn't smack me but she did tell me i should take my money and go see a doctor, that's when i told her about my first jump when i told her about my second jump i told her i was taking her advice to go see the doctor the tandem doctor that is She definetely think's i have lost my mind.
