artistcalledian 0 #1 October 14, 2005 Hi there, thought i'd better say hello I've just got into skydiving and have just completed my AFF course, i've done 1 consol jump but am itching to get some more done this weekend i'm from nottingham, in England so don't think bad of me for being a poor limey LOL oh, i'm also late to this sport at 39 but as everybody else says... its the best thing i've ever done and i'm meeting some great new friends I can't wait for my rig to be made, i've ordered a Wings container, an Aerodyne pilot 170 main and an aerodyne reserve. artistcalledian 0 #7 October 15, 2005 do you jump at Old Buckenham? i want to jump at all the uk DZ's when i'm able to, should be a blast meeting new people My first consol jump went really well, my AFF instructor (Milko) asked if he could follow me down, how can i say no to somebody like him LOL i jumped out and got stable in the quickest time out of all my jumps and just enjoyed the view untill milko came down infront of me and started pulling faces at me... i was laughing my head off... whilst checking my altitude .... he gave me a high five at 7k and tracked off, i waved off at 5.5k and pulled... laughing my tits off all the way down under canopy THIS is when the real learning and fun begins i went to Bodyflight wind tunnel with some of the experienced jumpers a few weeks ago, it was great for me... taught me to relax and to smile !________________________________________ drive it like you stole it and f*ck the police Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
