Guess it will have to wait till NEXT weekend... Which is no problem, since it will sit in a box till I have enough money for my G3 and a Smart 135... and an S3. The Safire 135, PD 126, Mirage G3 currently hooked up to my Classic will remain operational for quite some time to come! See ya tomorrow. tIt's the year of the Pig. EAerodyne 0 #4 April 30, 2004 Congratulations on your new rig, hope it is one of the 8 or so complete systems we shipped out this week. If there is anything that doesn't meet your expectation, please feel free to email us directly, and we will be sure to take good care of you. We are excited too, as the first complete systems start rolling out the door, however we are also just as keen to see what we can do to improve on them. So far we have had incredibly positive feedback and support from people who have already received their new rigs & I hope you are equally as pleased. Adrock 0 #5 May 1, 2004 Man, I'm so jealous of your new rig. Thirteen weeks and counting since I ordered my Icon, Pilot, and Smart. So much for hoping that it would be here before the jumping season started. Maybe next week... Addie
FrancoR 0 #6 May 2, 2004 Quote Thirteen weeks and counting since I ordered my Icon, Pilot, and Smart. That doesn't sound good. I ordered my Icon on March 25th and i was told it would take 8 weeks. I hope i don't have to wait 13 weeks. If it does not cost anything you are the product.

Thanatos340 1 #9 May 3, 2004 As one of those who are anxiously awaiting a new Icon/Pilot/Smart, How long did it take from order to delivery. Are they making the 8 to 10 weeks delivery time?
EAerodyne 0 #10 May 3, 2004 Hi Addie, Seeing your post this morning made me do what any good company should do and check into it. :-) You will be pleased to note, that your pilot and smart are already here and we are just waiting on your icon due to arrive from our manufacturing facility on Thursday. When it arrives we will box it right up and ship it out to Square2 so that you have it for this coming weekend. For the records, it isn't actually 13 weeks since it was placed in our system, however that doesn't mean it wasn't 13 weeks since you ordered it. Sometimes the distributor needs to do some paperwork on their side that takes process time too. I apologize for the delay, April was a mad month for us with the South African elections and numerous public holidays to celebrate their 10 year celebrations of their new found independence. In order to make up for that, we are increasing our work hours (overtime) to accommodate the more than expected orders that we have received. For those asking. We are currently at 10 weeks for custom ICON's and Mains and are working hard at reducing that. We honestly had no idea, that our orders would be so high in our first year of putting the ICON on the market, and this is being addressed as we speak. Please check this site or our web site www.aerodyne-int.com for an update as to when delivery times will be back to 8 weeks I would also like to take this opportunity for all those customers who have placed orders with Aerodyne, to thank you for your custom and support. I sincerely hope that your new equipment will be with you soon and that it is everything, if not more than you expect it to be. Sincerely Edward Anderson Chief of Operations Aerodyne Research. Adrock 0 #11 May 3, 2004 Thanks a lot for checking this out! Such good customer service, and not even requested. When I ordered, the delivery time was predicted as 10-12 weeks, so it's not that late. Can't wait to see it show up on my doorstep! Addie
betzilla 56 #12 May 3, 2004 I'm jealous. Mine (Icon, Smart, Vision) should be here within a couple weeks. Make sure when you're taking pictures, you get a nice one of you spooning with it .
AlexJ 1 #13 May 7, 2004 A month or two to go and my brand new Javelin Odyssey RSK will arrive. Took many months of waiting but will also be well worth the wait. I have not jumped the ICON but would hazard a guess that the Odyssey would remain my first choice Just trying to get my hands on a Katana 97 now to fill it with. My FX 94, although still newish is destined for the backup rig! Speaking of gear my new Bev suit might be here this weekend, just in time for the three hours of tunnel time our team has booked on Sat Catch ya later KFC. Ciao, Al
karlm 0 #14 May 7, 2004 Great to see the people in the industry look out and watch for posts and comments on their products. Bushman - your insight and posts have been valuable on all aspects of the new gear from Aerodyne. Great cumstomer service is what makes a company break ground in an already crowded market. All I can say is that Aerodyne has a solid track record of reliable people behind the brand, and with the combined years of knowledge and passion, Aerodyne is sure to be a major player in the sports gear market. As for the "Javelin Odyssey" comment, he's been mouthing off for months now and still now toy ..... should have ordered a Icon. Better never to have met you in my dream than to wake and reach for hands that are not there.

AlexJ 1 #16 May 8, 2004 QuoteGreat cumstomer service is what makes a company ... That must be some new improved, up close and very personal kind of customer service ... I'm glad that you dig that Karly Seriously though, I dont doubt that your ICON rocks and I wish you the best with your new Aerodyne gear dude! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to try on my new Bev suit that did in fact arrive on time, and then off to bed to rest up for my day of tunneling which starts 5 hours from now. hehehehehehe ... Jokes aside though, it's time you got your butt back here for some more fun. Ciao, Al
