I've been skydiving for more than a year now, near a hundred jumps (beer soon, I know). I've already had two cutaways, I've landed three miles from the airport, and I waited five months for gear that could have taken two weeks. A peppered skydiving career already.

I've been told that there's a conversation going on on DZ.com that relates to brake malfunctions and landing procedures, and I'm having a hard time finding the post. My last cutaway was due to bad line stows, I wasn't able to release the right brake. I'd like to put my two cents in.

Glad you joined us! I'm very new to skydiving but sounds like you and I have a lot in common. No cutaways but some unfortunate circumstances (from which I have learned much).

Welcome to the group!
