AdrenalBear 0 #1 November 21, 2005 Just wanted to say howdy to everyone! Hopefully I'll be doing my first tandem jump either Thanksgiving or Christmas and, assuming I love it(why wouldn't I?), hopefully I'll be going for my A license soon after that! Anyone in the Houston area, Skydive Spaceland or Skydive Houston? Adios Yall "Your actions speak so loudly I cannot hear what you are saying..." AggieDave 6 #4 November 21, 2005 Well, great choice on wanting to start skydiving! Any specific reason you're driving past SD Aggieland on Hwy 6 in Bryan to go to Waller or Rosharin?--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." AdrenalBear 0 #7 November 21, 2005 I go to school in Waco, but am originally from Pasadena/Houston, so Waller and Rosharon are closer when I'm home, although its good to know there is a dz that close to waco, hopefully i'll be jumping there sometime in the not so distant future "Your actions speak so loudly I cannot hear what you are saying..." AggieDave 6 #8 November 22, 2005 That's awesome! It really doesn't matter where you jump, just that you jump. Welcome to our world (or atleast you'll know what I mean in the near future).--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." nbblood 0 #9 November 22, 2005 Welcome. Personally, I love Skydive Spaceland for lots of reasons. But, I'd say check them both out. I'll be at Spaceland over T-giving weekend. Stop by and say Hi and make your first jump. Spaceland has a great second-jump deal too. PM me if you want to know more.Blues, Nathan If you wait 'til the last minute, it'll only take a minute. mmytacism 0 #10 November 22, 2005 Hi, AdrenalBear! Good luck on your first jump! I'm not in your area, but I am a "n00b" like you, as I just completed my first tandem this weekend. It was all that I'd hoped for and more, and I can't wait to continue my training (I may schedule my second jump for this weekend). You'll love it! Relax and have a great time.
