hi henri,
once you get into skydiving you will probably find that you are always saving...!!!!
i saved for my tandem, then for my static line jump, now i am saving for my aff course, then i expect it will be for equipment, and obviously the skydives themselves! :P
then there are wind tunnels, coaching... the list never seems to end. BUT you will find lots of help and advice on dz.com - welcome!

Hi Henri:

Welcome to the forums and welcome to the time of your life! I'm 37 and from Kansas. Don't sweat not having jumped yet, as you can gain alot of info from these forums. They are great! Trust me...your first jump will be worth the wait.

I fully understand the financial windfalls you are going through. After my first jump course I was hooked, and currently work two part-time jobs in addition to my full-time job; all because I have fallen in love with this sport and can't seem to get enough.
