mattyblast 0 #1 December 22, 2005 Matty here...just a single guy with a desk job who's new to the sport & loves it indescribably. I did my first jump (AFF Level 1) this past August, and even though I thought it was going to be my only jump, I was instantly hooked and knew I had to continue doing it. I have 7 jumps to my credit now, and have recently completed AFF Level 6 (I had to repeat Level 3 because I couldn't turn correctly during freefall and also landed in someone's back yard--embarassing, but a funny story to share). I'm in the initial-excitement-honeymoon phase, as I'm sure most of you remember when you were newbies. I stare with envy at the photos in the magazines, and drool over every item in the Para-Gear catalog. I leave every jump just starving for another one. I can't possibly say enough wonderful things about my DZ, either. The folks at Sky Knights in East Troy, WI, are like a family--so friendly that they're impossible not to love. I look forward to the days when I can take skydiving vacations at the locale of my choice, participate in special events, and start investing in my own toys & goodies (used at first, of course). Thanks for the site--it'll be a great place to ask dumb questions, since I'll be hiding behind a computer screen. Just remember to go easy on me...you were like me once. "DOOR!!!" Peej 0 #2 December 22, 2005 Hey dude, welcome to the forums and to the sport! If there's one piece of advice that i can give you for DZ.com, it's use the search function before you ask questions in the forums. With the millions upon millions of posts on this site you can almost guarantee that your question has been asked and answered before. Otherwise, have fun around here! Feel free to shoot your mouth off in the bonfire, argue to you heart's content in SC and learn everything you can in the skydiving forums. This truly is a great place to hang out and meet people! Oh and the best part is that when you do start going to boogies and stuff you can look up your bros from here and meet them in the flesh, wicked! Take care Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky

That is SO funny landing in someones back yard. I want details! I'm very new...just two tandems ( and a few more for sure until I can get this breathing thing down) I have learned a lot just being here
 Mike111 0 #6 December 23, 2005 welcome, and nice one on doing level
 krazykate 0 #7 December 28, 2005 Hey, Congratulations, I am looking forward to doing my AFF beginning of next year!
