franman 0 #1 February 13, 2006 I finally got my A License last week after a year in the sport! I started on static line in the British winter - not good for jumping! I was getting through the levels very slowly - 17 five second delays!! Eventually, after 37 jumps I was on 15 second delays which were pretty good. Unfortunately, I then moved and started my placement year, all of which meant I didn't jump for 5 months by which point the British winter had come around again! So I decided to chuck it in and go out to Empuriabrava and do AFF. Best decision of my life!! I stormed through the levels, 10 consols and the hop'n'pop and even got 10 solos done before my 2 weeks were up! Looking back I can't believe that I found it so hard on RAPS. But I've got my A license now and all I have to do is tighten my belt for a bit while I pay off the money I spent on the course!! I'll have to start saving for a rig now too....
