are my hip rings in the right spot?

Sorry to hear about you junk. First you have to decide how big a problem it is because if you need to have the harness adjusted, it's going to cost you. It means haveing the entire main lift web re-worked. Personnaly, I wouldn't worry too much unless the chest strap is hiting you in the neck or if you having trouble reaching the toggles.

Humm... Seems that the r on my keyboard doesn't like to work.

How about you send some pics to the folks that made your rig, since they'd be the ones that would really and truely know for sure.;)

Looks like an Infinity to me! Actually, it looks like serial #6873, to be exact;) It looks like the rings are right about where we like them to be- right between the top of your femur and the top of your pelvis. It wouldn't feel too good to have a ring sitting right on top of a bone, now would it?:)

They look about right to me -- they should be right at the level of the point of your hipbone (which in women is usually a bit lower than the visual top of the hip.

The "junk squishing" isn't really an indication of improper fit (I have a ring harness that fits me like butter, and I get a little of that too); it's really just an unfortunate -- or fortunate, depending on your perspective :o -- consequence of a ringed harness.

i just tried my rig on, i gess the rings seem to be in the right place. but as far as the junk squishing goes, is there anything i can do to aide this?

Move the junk?:D

VSE's harness has the rings a bit lower than say a Talon which are really high. The Effect of this is one of the most comfortable harnesses while under canopy ever made.

You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

We can make you some narrow legpads- 3" vs. the 4 1/4" you have now. Let me know if you would like to go that route. Do you usually have problems on the ground or under canopy?
