DottieBear 0 #1 March 23, 2006 Hey everyone :) I finally went sky diving for the first time 3 weeks ago, and was immediately addicted. I've jumped 9 times in those 3 weeks..a few tandems(2 fun, 3 training) and am working on my AFF level four now(I am redoing it the next time I get to go because my turning is um...less than perfect during freefall). But I just found this community and am really looking forward to having people to share my obsession with! My poor mother is so sick of hearing me talk about it! skymama 37 #2 March 23, 2006 Welcome to the forums! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
Sparky22 0 #3 March 23, 2006 Welcome, make yourself at home. I know what you mean about the mother, mine can't stand the conversations anymore, I used to be the one finding ways to cut the call short and now I find her doing it. Anyway, cherish every second of freefall, it is a gift that unfortunately everyone wont experience. Blue skies

DottieBear 0 #6 March 27, 2006 I'm so excited, tomorrow I get to go back and try level 4 again, and hopefully one or two others. I am training at Freefall Adventures in Sebastian, FL, but I won't be able to finish my training here because I am heading back up north in a week I am hoping to do as much as possible at Cross Keys, staying with the Freefall Adventures people, but I just found out CPI is like 40 minutes from where I live in CT. Anyone have experiences with either dz???~Dottie “Everything looks perfect from far away.” Postal Service, Such Great Heights
