jeannajumps 0 #1 September 14, 2006 Hello! My name is Jeanna ("Gina") and I went on my first tandem jump early August! It was just a random idea I had and went by myself (no one wanted to go!). I fell in love instantly and was back a week later to begin getting my SL progression (there wasn't an AFF program). I just got my license last friday! I had no idea what an immense void I had in my life until my first skydive. My sport has been figure skating for almost 15 years, but I already love skydiving just as much if not more! I've become completely obsessed, so naturally I had to join this forum.
 Peej 0 #2 September 14, 2006 Hey Jeanna! Welcome to the forums, it's always nice to have new skydivers join us here on dz.com it's good to hear that you're so keen on the sport too and congrats on your license! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
 jeannajumps 0 #4 September 14, 2006 Thank you! I would definitely like to travel to boogies eventually in the future. They sound like great opportunities to learn more and meet new people! I would love to jump my brains out but its the $ factor that limits me to a couple jumps a month. Plus I am saving up for a rig of my own, I hate renting gear Blue skies! I'd think that it could even be a quintaple axel! That is definitely on my list of things to do now when I visit a DZ with a CASA. Maybe wear a skating dress for the occasion! It continues to fascinate me that I find people passionate about other sports, but not any where near the level of passion and commitment that skydivers display, just like your comment about the unknown void in your life before now-keep rockin'!!!
