It been years since i have been in greece...and the last timei was there skydiving wasnt even a thought...so jumping there would be somewhat of a personal thing i guess...lol."Age has absolutely nothing to do with knowledge, learning, respect, attitude, or personality." -yardhippie "Fight the air, and the air will kick your ass!!! Lok 0 #6 November 28, 2006 Hi Marios and welcomeHope we jump again at Megara soon. Weather at Greece is absolute freaking awesome. No winds, No upper winds, no clouds, just SUN,SUN,SUN and is nearly December!!!! The dropzone at Megara is freaking beautiful. Too bad that in this country the skydiving activities are so rare (some weekends only) because of many negative reasons. Maybe in the future, will be better. Marios 0 #7 November 29, 2006 Good to find you all. Do we know each other Lok? I believe things are getting better. Little steps are made all the time. We have to be optimistc and help as much as we can to enjoy the sport we love. Megara is indeed an amazing place to jump... In the picture you can see how the beautiful the sky was last time we jumped. This was late in the afternoon. Magic...
Lok 0 #8 November 29, 2006 Yes, as sport parachutist, I have done 1 jump at Megara!!!!!!!!!!We met and we were in the same Lift. The last two weeks I was trying to contact the members of the aeroclub, but nothing happens. I still didn't understand how the things work here in Greece?? do we go straight to the Dropzone or we wait the aeroclub to contact us??? But anyway if you can P.M me next weekend that Megara Skydiving club will be open? I'll much apreciate it. The photo is wonderful, even rare Greek sky with clouds... FlyinTink 0 #12 December 15, 2006 Hey Mario. I am new to the sport (only 28 jumps) and I jump at a new DZ here in Texas...Capitol Skydiving. We have sunsets at our DZ that are as beautiful as that pic you posted of your Greek sky. Anyhow...my boyfriend and I are always going on about places we would like to travel to and one that we always agree on is Greece...(that couch big enough for two...we are pretty small???) I definitely think that Greece will be a stop for us someday...
