A_girl 0 #1 December 25, 2006 Hi everyone, I made my first tandem jump on Dec. 9th, then another on Dec. 15th. On my first one I was scared to death, the second I was more relaxed and now just waiting out the holidays and weather to make my third. I want to move on to AFF but I am nervous about where I will plant myself if left on my own. Did anyone else have this problem? Hope I'm not the only neurotic 1st timer out there. Looking forward to getting the nerve to leave the tandum instructor on the ground. When choosing between two evils, I always like to try the one I've never tried before

ladydyver 0 #3 December 25, 2006 Yes...i think all new jumpers feel this way...I still do although I am comfortable in the air and now i am concerned about my landings...so you will find you change your mind about the things that you worry about.DPH # 2 "I am not sure what you are suppose to do with that, but I don't think it is suppose to flop around like that." ~Skootz~ I have a strong regard for the rules.......doc! jbanning 0 #4 December 25, 2006 I was nervous until my last AFF jump, having some fear saves your life, and teaches you how to react to situations and procedures you are being taught....Good luck and have fun!
