sdub2221 0 #1 August 6, 2007 I complered my first 3 AFF levels. It is a bit frustrating because I am not stable during most of the freefall, although I do find about a 5-10 second window where I am stabilized and more relaxed. With each jump I am focusing more on the skydive and how I need to be positioned. My coaches are great and give me clear signals when need be. Hopefully on fouur, I can be totally relaxed and do my 90's. It seems I have the biggest problem getting my legs out. I tend to keep them behind me, but when the instructor gives me the "legs out' symbol, I instantly become more stable. Anywyas, thus far I am truly astounded on how much fun skydiving is, even though I am not that good. Oh, and 2 of my 3 landings were stand ups!
rygon 0 #2 August 7, 2007 well done so far. Just remember to take deep breaths..clear your head and relax...keep those thighs up and straighten your toes more than you think you need. A c ouple more jumps and you should be good enough not to need any signals. With regards to the 90 turns remember to turn with your elbows and not body (dont look too far around with your ehad as this will turn your body as well...putting you in the opposite direction) If you do turn the wrong way, stop the turn, arch, big deep breath and try again Good luck
