I allways checked the position of both handles on exit, but after the opening, the result was the same . What can I do to prevent this? Don't be a Lutz! I see from your sig line that you have a last line of defence - but you wouldn't need it if you listened to that little voice that should be saying "Sooner or later that handle is not going to be accesable when I need it - and then I'll be roundly screwed up the arse with a rough stick.." tIt's the year of the Pig. mr2mk1g 10 #3 May 21, 2004 Several manufacturers now offer pillow reserve handles which either have a plastic swadge or actually a mini d-ring inside the pillow. These designs prevent the handle from turning under the harness but are still unlikely to be caught by another jumper/plane. Or you could just get a D-ring. It seems, that the problem which scared me was the result of a little spin in the reserve cable caused by the wrong attached pad (little packing error). Don't be a Lutz!
