FlyingJ27 0 #1 November 3, 2008 Hello everyone! I just made my first tandem jump on my 22nd birthday this past Saturday at Skydive Spaceland. The fact that it was my birthday was just a coincidence. I got the idea to try skydiving a couple weeks ago. It just popped in my head one day, so I decided to give it a try. I don't have to tell you guys how incredible it was! The first 10 seconds were about 100 times more intense then I ever could have imagined! I was surprisingly not nervous at all. My instructor has almost 9000 jumps, so that may have had something to do with it. I plan to go back this Saturday for my second jump. I think I will go for my 'A' License early next year. I have to come up with $2,000 first!
