9 years and 364 days ago, I made my first skydive at Perris. It was my 18th birthday and it was phenomenal. Jumped tandem again a few months after that, and then took about a 7 year hiatus due to finances, school and ... well.. life, but got back into it a few years ago while living in Monterey, CA. Did one more tandem (3rd time's a charm) and was totally hooked.... did AFF, got my A license and have a total of 50 jumps under my belt.

But... (feels like confession time...) forgive me skydiving gods, for I have sinned.. it's been about a year and a half (maybe a little more?) since my last skydive. Thing is... I happen to be just up the street from Perris again... and tomorrow is my birthday... and the sky sure does look like a marvelous shade of blue... Guess I'm feeling just a bit apprehensive about going up there again after havin so much time off...

Just wondering if anyone is gonna be out and about jumping at Perris tomorrow... or if anyone knows what all I'd need to do just to get back up in the sky again. i'd love to say this is going to be the starting point where I'd begin jumpin regularly again, but unfortunately I've got a deployment the end of this month that'll keep me away for a bit... but I still think it might be fun and totally worth it to celebrate my 10th year of skydiving/28th birthday... any thoughts?

Well, since you have 144 posts, I guess I don't need to welcome you. I would guess you need to do a recurrency jump, which will cost more. Just call the dz and see what they say. I hope you have fun!
