french rig allowed in the states?

Recommended Posts

actually FRENCHcloud might not use BA but any airline flying directly from France... Rig in cabin might be difficult to take, because some guys there consider a parachute as a weapon, but you can put it in the hold at boarding, which is not bad, at least you're sure teh rig is on the plane.
Had contradictory info from airlines when I called them, even when I called BA... So I prefer to just take my rig as a carryon and find out once at the airport...

My friend and I travelled to the states and back with 3 rigs only a couple of months ago. We went Air France via CdG airport and had no issues whatsoever. I have subsequently heard that CdG airport (what's left of it) do not allow rigs at all and if they'd realised we had rigs probably would have stopped us.

Who really knows though - call the airport/airline.

My only other advice would be dont travel Air France. The service sucks ass.
