deathmoon 0 #1 October 29, 2009 Hello all! My name's Tom and I did my first jump (Level 1 AFF) this past Monday. No words, picture or video can even begin to explain the experience...why oh why did I wait to do this for so long!!! My was was at Skydive New England from 14k feet. When I landed one of the instructors came up to me and saw something on my face and said something to the degree of, "Oh man, your hooked!". He was right! Sad to say that they close this weekend, but luckily I travel a lot so I'll be able to jump in the south. I've got all winter to read the SIM, these forums and start working towards my license. Thanks for reading!!!"Plain and simple, skydiving is all about controlled terror, and I love it." –Lewis B. Sanborn

midlifecrisis 0 #7 November 9, 2009 WELCOME!!! Dont let a little cold weather stop you. I mean, people ski, snowmobile, ice fish, ice climb and all kinds of other winter sports. As long as the DZ is open and you dress right winter jumps can be beautiful. We jump all year in Idaho (weather permiting). Congrats on getting started! See you in the jump plane soon!
