KWRider 0 #1 March 7, 2010 Made my first student jump today at West Tennessee Skydiving. It was a great experience even though I sprained my ankle on landing. My instructors were great especially Bud Cole who taught my groundschool.Never Too Old

SkyPainter 0 #3 March 13, 2010 CONGRATS! And welcome to the skies! A tweaked ankle happens, but generally not a lot. Stick with it!Live deliberately; Dare greatly; Land gently SkyPainter SOS 1304, POPS 10695, DS
KWRider 0 #4 April 5, 2010 Well, a sprained ankle turned into a broken fibula. I had surgery 3/25 and am looking at 6-8 weeks recovery. Doc says no jumping for at least 4 months. What a bummer!Never Too Old
skymama 37 #5 April 6, 2010 Sorry to hear that! Don't be discouraged; lots of people get injured skydiving (me included!) and have no problem coming back. Sometimes getting a break is better than a sprain! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
