icewarrior1 0 #1 April 12, 2010 So i had 53 jumps nine years ago. have my b license. Ended up quitting the sport. My gf at the time didn't want me spending time at the dz. Anyways, last year i did a tandem and i told myself i need to get back in the sky!! Went to skynights in east troy, wi for safety day, took ground school last weekend and made my first solo jump yesterday!! Was a great jump. Went up with 2 aff instructors. They released me halfway thru the dive. I'm a little shaky but felt good and had a good landing! I gotta go back next week and make a couple more jumps doing backflips, turns and tracking and then i should be current again!!! I'm so happy to be back! MrKotter 0 #7 April 16, 2010 I feel your pain, bro! Was out for 10 years myself before returning to the sport in '08. As soon as I let go of the plane on my recurrency jump, all I could think of was, "What the hell have I been doing for the last 10 years?!!!" You made the right choice. Glad to see you back!
