kitflint76 0 #1 September 26, 2010 My name is Kit. I'm 33. I did my first jump earlier this month with a friend as a "bucket list" kind of thing. My father and grandfather were both paratroopers, so I have always wanted to do it at least once. I'm hooked, I paid for my first jump toward getting my license that day. The runway was being resurfaced the next week so I had to wait a week and a half for my next jump. That was last Wed. My next jump is this Wed. I'm doing a tandem progression, so if I can meet all my objectives for the next jump I get to go to ground school and go out the door with just a container on my back instead of a instructor. :) I've been lurking in forums trying to pick up all the tips and advice I can. I can't believe it took me this long to discover skydiving. But reading the forums leads me to believe I will be enjoying it into my 70'sLife is a banquet, and most poor fools are starving to death
