hello everyone! my name is Jay from kcmo. i have been skydiving twice before, once for my 19th birthday in 2006 and once in may of 2010. since going the second time i really really want to get certified. i joined this site in hopes of talking and meeting others who share my interest and could share information that could help me get my license.

my first post will be whether aff or afp is right for me. ive done some research but there is much more to be done.

Welcome aboard! I'm from the area as well and plan to start training this Spring. I think it'll either be at Skydive KC in Butler or MRVS in Lexington. I'm sure we'll be meeting each other soon!

Skydive KC is where i have been. i liked it there but i might be trying out Missouri River Valley just because it is closer to my house. i am going to try to contact both and talk to an instructor about everything. I AM SO READY FOR THIS COLD WEATHER TO BE OVER!

Me too! I didn't think anyone would be open until March/April time frame, but it wouldn't hurt to give them a call and see what's going on I suppose!
