jarboarder1 0 #1 May 24, 2011 Hey everyone. Just finished my first jump parachute school yesterday up here in Edmonton. I absolutely loved it and can't wait to get my A-license. Ive been looking around the site and see a ton of good information. If anyone has any recommendations on things to read/research let me know. I dont want to be too much of an eager beaver, but I already love this sport and can't wait to excel at it.
skymama 37 #2 May 24, 2011 Welcome to the forums! here. Read the Gear and also the Safety forums here, there are a lot of good topics. After 10 years, I still learn things from those forums. jarboarder1 0 #3 May 25, 2011 Thanks for the recommendation. Is his free flying instruction good also. I was looking on Amazon and I didn't see either his book or DVD on free flying. I was just wondering because he has a deal if you buy all his books, and they all seem interesting.

popsjumper 2 #5 May 26, 2011 The USPA Skydiver's Information Manual might be a good place to start. Or, any Canadian equivalent documentation. My reality and yours are quite different.
