aerobirdboy 0 #1 January 22, 2013 Boy oh boy does it feel good to have nailed a date for my AFF week. Four months, a few days, a ferry journey some train time a detour to Airkix and i'm there. Excited barely covers it, i'm proper revving already :-). Any advice gratefully received, i'm staying at the DZ for two weeks and hoping to get my BPA A license complete in that time. Oh hell I don't think I can wait...This looked easier on youtube.....

shorehambeach 9 #5 January 23, 2013 Great choice. Langar is a great DZ and you'd go a long way to find a better instructor than Phil. Keep us posted.

aerobirdboy 0 #7 July 1, 2013 Well, got back late Saturday night and have passed AFF and managed 3 consols as well. Not bad for 3 and a half days! I actually trapped a nerve so couldn't finish my tunnel properly, had to come back to the Island and then go back again after getting medically cleared. Langar was awesome and Phil Curtis was a mega instructor, back again in ten days to hopefully do everything required for my A licence. This looked easier on youtube.....
