JColv 0 #1 July 13, 2013 Hey guys; Just moved here from Denver - Ready to get certified. I live in Manhattan and I'm pretty sure the dropzone in Calverton, Long Island is the closest to me. I also have friends that live about 30 minutes away so I can crash there to be at the dropzone early. Would have started this weekend but the weather isn't very forgiving at the moment... Looking for someone to give me some advice and maybe jump with me during my training. I jumped back in 2006 and haven't since. Actually had a bad line twist I untangled my first AFF jump too; can't wait to do this more often. Anyone from the area or have some advice and possible used equipment advice in the future? Thanks So Much! Cheers, -JC-JColv
skymama 37 #2 July 13, 2013 Welcome to the forums! As for gear, check the Classifieds here but get input from your instructors. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
