Scuba Diving : - I stopped logging my Scuba dives after 1200+ dives, dived solo, ice, high alt, drift, river, cave etc I am a Avid Kayaker, done a lot of kayaking and river running in Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and most rivers of the Himalayas. Aeromodelling is another passion i have, like to fly helis and 3D aeros. As far as Parachuting is concerned, i have jumped with Round & Square Canopy, all static line. First Jump was with a canopy called PTRM (Back in 1992). Starting my AFF and god willing A license in couple of days Wish me luckLive Life

wingsuitflier 0 #3 December 29, 2013 Thanks you Sky Mama (a) For your rep (You are the only one who did...) (b) Trg went off well, Good jumps, Tunnel time helped a lot, Static jumps meant good canopy control, all of em were stand up landings (weather helped a lot too)Live Life

StreetScooby 5 #5 December 29, 2013 Sounds like your adrenaline system works Re: you're exit picture, don't be afraid to be more aggressive on the head down out the door. It will expose more of your control surface (your chest and hips) to the relative wind as soon as you're out the door. Just keep your head up, then just fly it We are all engines of karma
Trafficdiver 8 #6 December 29, 2013 Wow fighter pilot! I'm jealous. Have fun with AFF, you'll probably nail it.
jumpsalot-2 3 #7 December 30, 2013 I like your freefall picture. I can see the fighter pilot in your eyes .... no fear. One thing though ... you'll never get your canopy to barrel roll ....... Life is short ... jump often.

wingsuitflier 0 #10 December 30, 2013 Thank you Sky Mama, Streetscooby, Brendan, Mike, Sandar & Mr Jangra, for a warm welcome and advice. My AFF went off well, most exiting was, swoop and dock and HNP, in fact all of them. I was comfortable in all the dives and could maintain balance, some bad habits from the earlier trg (which some of you would have noticed) and tunnel needs to be killed, your opinions and suggestions welcome once i upload the video. (I will post the link once done) PFL (Practice Forced Landing) that we do in fixed wing flying and Tacking that we do in sailing really helped, could penetrate high wind speed by trying to tack like we do in sailing and applying 'High ? Turn High' as we do in PFL helped too, some seasoned undershot, since i turned base on perspective i ended up at 1000' on finals and made my landing spot (I was mighty thrilled about that and kept sort of bragging about it for a day or two), Once i did go sky face, took sometime to get out of it, good thing though was i was altitude aware all the time. i do intent to go to wing suit and base jumping. For base, i guess i will go to Twin falls next year, for Wing suit, haven't decided yet. before that i need to notch up some dives, looking at that magic 200 figure and some quality air time My Earlier dives were, like i said was on PTRM and AMX, AFF was on Wings 260, exceptional canopy, if AMX was C-130, 260 was FA-18, it was a pleasure flying 260. Climb to height was painfully long on C172. Hope i get to dive from Caravan or Pilatus Porter That was in a nutshell my experience with AFF trg, Wish me luck Adding one more pic PS My son did tandem, instr told me that he was confident in climb out and jumped without fear, did all that was told to him like checking altimeter and practice touch etc. though his mother doesn't approve, i know he will one day be a Sky Diver Take care all you Happy Landings GustyLive Life
