Moonlight_Drive 0 #1 April 6, 2014 I'm 27 and got my AFF in Lodi 1.5 years ago but have only used it as a really fun thing to do when I need the natural high. I gamble for a living and do as much as possible to not let the financial swings affect my emotional state and overall psyche. Watercolor painting and skydiving are my outlets and give me a sense of creative freedom. I would like to eventually be a skydive photographer and wing suit BASE, I just need to put in the hours. I have saved up $1500 so far this year and am looking to buy a 170ft^2 rig, no idea what they range for. I haven't been apart of a forum in eight years so feel free to help me out in any way possible early on. Thanks, Darrel Dier
Trafficdiver 8 #2 April 6, 2014 Blackjack? I'd be fucked if that were my job. lol Welcome to the forum. I'd say you want to save up another grand or so to get a good rig with an AAD in it. Then you get out there a lot more and not have to worry about renting equipment. Check out the classified section for gear and you'll get a better idea of the pricing. Have fun. ianyapxw 0 #4 April 7, 2014 I don't know where you got the idea of blackjack but lots of casinos use card shuffling machines, making it impossible to count. To OP all the best in your journey! Have fun

I've never played Blackjack in a Casino that uses a machine to shuffle the cards, nor would I. Plus I was joking anyway. I got rocked in Las Vegas last time I played. ianyapxw 0 #6 April 7, 2014 Why wouldn't you play blackjack in a place with auto-card shuffling? It's still the same chance (of losing) if I'm not wrong Professional gamblers usually play poker, I don't think there's any other game you can win without cheating or extreme discipline. I always assume that there are small gnomes living inside of those machines that give me bad cards and give the dealer good cards Does that make me crazy? ianyapxw 0 #9 April 7, 2014 Yes, but in a good way Those who pray to the fortune god always end up losing money anyway. Or else play poker and be really really really good at it.

Moonlight_Drive 0 #12 May 16, 2014 Just bought a used Sabre 190 with AAD and took lessons on how to pack it. Jumped my own pack job yesterday! I'll be practicing packing it over the next two months. I'm heading to Vegas for the World Series of Poker next week, wish me luck.
Hollywood5581 0 #13 May 17, 2014 Hey, bro congrats on the rig. Hit me up next time if you jump in Lodi. I jump every tuesday, and try to get out there on Saturdays if my work load isn't heavy. Good luck in Vegas bro.
Trafficdiver 8 #14 May 18, 2014 Awesome man. Try to get to Skydive Mesquite and spend some of your winnings. They're about 90 min north east of Las Vegas.
