stef722 0 #1 June 13, 2014 Hi! I'm a new AFP student from Minnesota....after doing a total of six tandems I decided that skydiving was something I needed to pursue, and I'm really excited to get into the sport. I completed the FJC about a month ago and did AFP #1 a few days later. Everything went great in the air but unfortunately I ended up messing up the landing and injuring myself (a bad sprained ankle). I'm anxious (and a bit scared) to do AFP #2 but I hope to be able to finish my A license this year. I'm really excited to be part of this community. :)
skymama 37 #2 June 13, 2014 Welcome to the forums! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
stef722 0 #3 June 13, 2014 Thanks for your advice! I'm definitely trying to focus on the positive, and everyone at my DZ has been encouraging. I plan to wear a brace for awhile...as you said, I think it will make me feel more confident. :)
