luthien 0 #1 November 4, 2014 Hello everyone! Last week, I jumped in tandem and loved it! I was laughing all the way down I plan to get my license this Spring (I wish PNW had better weather during fall/winter).There's no point in having a dream unless you make it happen. wan2doit 6 #2 November 5, 2014 Welcome from a whuffo. Practice flying in a wind tunnel in the mean time and u will know how to fly the 1st time out the plane's door - I think. Remember I'm a whuffo.

Dilligas 0 #5 November 5, 2014 Oh, thanks. I thought it might be an airport code. That might be a common abbreviation in the PNW, but I don't think the rest of the country knows it, especially down here on the FGC.

jbrown499 0 #7 November 28, 2014 I started my AFF in November 2013 and had my 25 jumps and A license by late May 2014. (actually took me about 30 jumps, had some accuracy issues) Not sure where in the PNW you did your tandem, but I got my Aff at Kapowsin in Shelton. They heat the hanger if it's cold, and as far as jumps in the cold weather. Layer up. Also, good advice on the wind tunnel. There's one in Tukwilla, near Seattle.
