freefall743 0 #1 February 16, 2015 Hello everyone. I'm new to the whole skydiving world but looking forward to learning everything possible. Little background on me. My names Chris, 24 Y/O and am currently deployed overseas in the Airforce.(C-130j crew chief). Originally from upstate Ny(Rochester) I'm a certified scuba diver and love doing track days on my bike('11 zx6r) I did my first tandem jump August of 2014 right before I came over here. Instantly hooked. I've been in contact with my local DZ and looking for a good date to start my AFF course. Skydiving has always been on my list to get licensed in and now its becoming a reality. Looking forward to meeting some of you if you're in the Arkansas area.

dthames 0 #5 February 17, 2015 freefall743Yeah, I'm stationed at little rock AFB which is in jacksonvile. Almost done here! There is at least one other skydiver stationed there, a C-130 pilot. I jump with him down at Dallas once in a while.Instructor quote, “What's weird is that you're older than my dad!”
freefall743 0 #6 February 17, 2015 I'll be back in the states some time next month. Doing as much research as I can while I'm over here to get a good idea on what to expect from the aff course. Dthames, that's awesome. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
BKS60 0 #7 February 19, 2015 There have been a few jumpers from the C130 crews in Little Rock that jump with us at West Tennessee Skydiving regularly. They all have been great to have around. One just moved to Guam and another moved up north. There are quite a few civilian jumpers that drive over most weekends to."You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"
skydave89 19 #8 February 21, 2015 I live in Little Rock and drive over to West Tennessee Skydiving with a couple friends pretty much every weekend. It's the only place you should go, don't even try to jump in Arkansas, it's not worth it.

Funny how being gone for 6 months makes a list add up :) Ive been in contact with them about getting licenced so as soon as I get things squared away, I'm heading that direction.
