flytgurl 0 #1 November 19, 2015 Hi everyone! Total newbie here and starting my AFF on Saturday!I've been reading/studying/watching videos and I'm so excited! I'll be jumping at Skydive Perris. Funny thing is I've gone tandem twice. The first time I HATED it and swore I'd never do it again. A few years later I decided to give it one more go and WOW....what an amazing experience. I went in with a whole different perspective and now I'm hooked!
Rossco_DJ 0 #2 November 19, 2015 Welcome!! I did my AFF back in March-May this year. loved it. For what it's worth, i didn't actually enjoy the first few jumps in the same way i did going for a tandem, mostly because i was too focussed on what i was doing / supposed to be doing, instead of just going along for the ride. A bit tense, nerves, etc. From stage 4, though, it all started being fun again. SO if you have a similar experience to me, or it's not quite what you expected, don't stop! I'm 55 jumps in, now, and I've got no interest in stopping. Chances are you'll love it though!

FlyBabeAU 3 #4 November 20, 2015 Hey! Hope you love your AFF course. Its different to tandems of course because you're learning to fly yourself, but its so much more awesome because of that. And challenging, but amazing. So fun. I recently got A licensed and am learning heaps. Met the best people through the sport. I hear great things about Skydive Perris from friends who have jumped there- have fun!

FlyLikeARaven 0 #7 November 20, 2015 I'm in Davis, and the locals here have nothing but good things to say about Perris. I've never flown there, but I have to say you're in good hands. Good luck, and have fun! :)I'm not a lady, I'm a skydiver.

flytgurl 0 #9 November 23, 2015 They went great! I did level 1 on Sat and level 2 on Sun. We had perfect weather and my Instructor was awesome. I'm going to try knock out a few more levels over the long holiday weekend.
crazymonkey 0 #10 November 23, 2015 How funny... I think I sat next to you on the load yesterday and wished you good luck :) Was that you?Quote
 flytgurl 0 #11 November 23, 2015 Yes, that was me! You were in the Yellow wingsuit, right? Thanks for wishing me luck
 JohnMitchell 16 #12 January 30, 2016 I heard AFF training at Perris includes time in the wind tunnel. Is that correct? There's no better training tool for skydiving than a wind tunnel. But either way, have fun. Don't forget to pull.
