Joyner 0 #26 July 14, 2004 I've been told by my dealer that the logo is available at 500$!!! It adds pack volume! I had a 107 that I put about 150 jumps on, got a 97 demo with the logo and I felt that the 97 with logo packed larger than the 107 without logo. So I really see NO reason to get one. I sort of like the logo, but not to the extent were I'd pay an additional 500$ and add that much pack volume. On a side note after trying the 97 there wasn't any turning back to the 107! Selling the 107 used was probably the easiest thing I've done! It was sold 6 hours after I put out the add, and I got good money for it too! I got my 107 in Feb, and my 97 two weeks ago, and it had a s/n about 350 higher than the 107. PD is really pumping those babies out aren't they!? Kolla 0 #27 July 14, 2004 Man, that is one cool picture you have in your avatar - check your PM Adding artwork to canopies definitely increases the packing volume - depending on the size of the logo and the design. The Katana logo does add a little bit of volume - and that combined with many of the demos being brand new makes for a little bit of a challenge packing. Enjoy your little 97 - I will have to start picking colors for my new Katana soon! Winkey 0 #28 April 30, 2008 I've jumped both the katana 120 and the samurai 120. They are very different canopies. The Katana dives longer and has a slightly steeper glide. I've also seen that the katana has a better flair than the samurai. The samurai doesn't seek as much on opening though *take note though I am comparing a katana with 400 jumps (new lines) to a samurai with close to 1500 jumps (also new lines)
