piisfish 140 #26 March 9, 2011 QuoteThe fire ball is fake, the tv producers put it there to make it more scary. If i remember the pilot did land the plane, but with damages, since i saw a pic of the plane after the incident.I think the plane is crashed, and the pilot managed to bail out.scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
CarloC 0 #27 March 9, 2011 I got this picture of the plane, but i really dont think the pilot bailed out. He got hurt, but he did land the plane, kind of Just to make it clear, i´m talking about the COMP AIR incident in Chile The fireball and the pilot bailing out is the other video. Two jumpers go in the hole if the plane is full, leaving some space in front of the (exit) door. I've never seen anyone "struggle" to get in or out of the hole.Life is short ... jump often. vpjr 18 #29 March 10, 2011 The cabin is still holding its shape. Thats impressive. Cessnas are usually 2 foot high after an impact like that.
lowapproach 0 #30 March 10, 2011 OK. I must be wrong. I was probably not in there.
jumpsalot-2 3 #31 March 10, 2011 I'm not trying to say your wrong. I should say I like taking the baggage spot ( the hole ). I bet I've got 50 rides back there and it's very comfortable ( and near the door in case of an emergency exit.) Something tells me we have been on the same plane at the same un-named Drop Zone. Red tail or White tail ?Life is short ... jump often.
