Somebody sent me that the other day. They did that because I sat on a jury last week. The trial was for injury caused by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and OWI. They installed This roundabout near me a couple years ago. I went through it a day or two after it opened and asked myself: "How long will it be before a drunk doesn't realize it has been put in and goes over that hump at full speed?" The answer was 'about a week.' It took almost 2 years to percolate through the legal system, and I ended up on the jury for it. It ended in a conviction. The driver's attempt to say "it wasn't me, somebody else was driving" failed miserably. One witness estimated the speed when they hit it at somewhere above 70.
