javelin1 0 #126 October 12, 2007 another carbone "incident'.... he had a reporter from the (N.Y.)village press come out to the airport and do a story about skydiving.apparently some illegal substances were used after wards in his van with the reporter and that was written into the article. HOLY HELL broke loose the next weekend as the dz operator was being investigated by the FAA and the NJ board of aeronautics(state d.z. license).carbone was nott welcome there for for somtime afterwards. DrewEckhardt 0 #127 October 12, 2007 Scotty's a low pulling dirty-old man who organizes great skydives, is a fine cook, and is fun to hang around... The dude sure livened up Colorado skydiving when he and Tammy where hanging around Brush.
sfullerman 0 #128 October 15, 2007 In NW Louisiana a few years back, we were at the funeral of a skydive friend. It was an open casket service....Scotty walked to the front of the room, stepped past the Catholic Priest & the Baptist Pastor, and stood in front of the casket. Very emotionally he shared a couple of stories about his friend, and how much he would miss him. As he continued to speak, he got more & more worked up until finally he turned around, leaned over the casket and yelled at the brother laying there "YOU'D BETTER GET YOUR ASS TO HEAVEN G**DAMMIT!!" Then he turned and walked quietly away.
BigMark 1 #129 October 15, 2007 In the 90's I was staying in the front house at Perris and had no idea who the dude was, got up in the morning and this guy is throwing confetti in his hair and putting on these clown glasses to start the day. I asked him what the @#$! he was doing and he said "Organizing". I thought that was a strange way of organizing yourself. Later I figured it out. I was visiting Pahokee when the Bangbus Crew filmed their impromptu porno there. I remember Tammy and some of the other girls were not happy about it, and after Herc started nosing around the wetspot on the bar, they said they were going to have to start calling him "Herpes'les"-Blind"If you end up in an alligator's jaws, naked, you probably did something to deserve it." RedKite 1 #134 October 18, 2007 A conversation with Scotty Carbone at the 2006 Thanksgiving Boogie at Z-Hills:- Me: "Hey Scotty, can my brother and I come on your next load?" Scotty: "Well the group is large for the experience so perhaps later guys". Me: "No problem...I'm sure we can sort one out" .....an hour later..... Scotty: "How did that last jump go?" Me: (delivery is Carbone-esque) "What do you want to know for?,,,you had your chance so fuck off!" Scotty: (pissing himself laughing) "That fucking good eh?....want to come on my next load?" Me: "Okay!" (It was funny at the time but perhaps you had to be there!!!) Regards RedKite
Bolas 5 #135 July 11, 2008 Quote Scotty is one of a kind. An old time skydiver who likes to boast that he has more cutaways than most of us have jumps! I heard Scotty talking one time about how when he throws out he can tell before it is fully out of the bag if he needs to chop. As for Scotty stories, ask him sometime about his Bridge Day demo jump. Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.
