He seems to have decided to just accept that he is going to spend eternity in hell, along with all his friends!Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. wolfriverjoe 1,523 #102 April 19, 2017 ryoder *** "Adios Airlines." Stolen from the old James Brolin movie "High Risk." "Here we come!!!"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6O79pJzCDo8 Damn, that was a great scene!!!Absolutely fabulous. Enough "Hollywood License" that it's really hard to watch (the list would be very long, but the pilot firing a Mac-10 one handed and actually hitting anything is a dead giveaway). But a DC-3 with a door gunner doing a strafing run to the Stone's "Satisfaction" is so cool. The "Adios Airlines" part is from the beginning. When they jump out of the '3 into Columbia. That scene is the finale when they just want to leave. JerryBaumchen 1,354 #104 April 21, 2017 Hi folks, Some newer slogans by United: We have First Class, Business Class, and No Class. Our prices can’t be beaten...but our passengers can be. We beat our passengers, not the competition. We have an offer you can’t refuse. No, really. Not enough seating? Prepare for a beating. And you thought legroom was the issue. If our staff need a seat, we’ll drag you out by your feet. We treat you like we treat your luggage. Fight or flight. You may have patients, but we don’t have patience. We have red-eye and black-eye flights available. Now serving free punch. Jerry Baumchen

BillyVance 34 #108 May 5, 2017 Another airline fuck up... This time a family flying from Maui to LAX. Already seated, seats paid for. Parents decided to send their 18 year old son home on an earlier flight and used his ticket for their 2 year old son. Flight overbooked... gee I wonder why? Airline personnel tells the parents they have to give that seat up and have the 2 year old ride on their lap, never mind that its a red fucking eye flight. Father balks and says he paid for that seat. Airline forces them off and threatens them with jail and kids to foster care.Fucking assholes. Once passengers have boarded, leave them the fuck alone! DJL 235 #110 May 5, 2017 What I'm curious about is whether they processed the ticket they were using for the child when they boarded. If someone doesn't show up for a flight that doesn't mean you can use the seat. If they scanned the ticket at the gate when they boarded then it's your seat for the baby. They should've just gotten a seat for the baby, it would seem that airline safety rules would require that."I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
Phil1111 1,149 #111 May 9, 2017 Airline travel, starting to look like Christmas at Walmart. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6rA6qzoBOM Lines are longer than usual. Hundreds of flights have been delayed or canceled during the past week. By Monday, frustrations boiled over for Spirit Airlines passengers in Fort Lauderdale. Police were called to quell fights that had broken out there between upset fliers and beleaguered airline employees. Videos posted by passengers showed a chaotic scene, with authorities doing their best to separate fighting fliers. The Monday evening incident erupted after Spirit Airlines abruptly canceled nine different flights, according to CBS News. But problems had been building at the carrier for the past week, with CNN saying nearly 300 Spirit flights have been canceled during that period. What’s the problem? Spirit Airlines filed a suit Monday against its pilot union, alleging “an unlawful job action by Spirit pilots.” https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/flights/todayinthesky/2017/05/09/spirit-airlines-chaos-fights-erupt-cancellations-roil-carrier/101458876/

BillyVance 34 #114 May 11, 2017 Apparently, on the same day Dr Dao was forcibly removed from his Chicago to Louisville flight, a woman on another flight needed to get up to go to the bathroom but was denied by flight attendants, in the middle of the flight. They apparently forced her to pee in a cup at her seat. She couldn't get any response from United's customer relations until AFTER she shared her experience with the media. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/united-passenger-attendants-forced-me-to-pee-in-a-cup-at-my-seat/ar-BBAZrJY "Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
TriGirl 318 #115 May 12, 2017 That's just odd to me. Any time I've had an emergency of that sort while the seat belt light is still illuminated, the flight attendants have just told me that I would accept my own risk if I got up. It wasn't on take-off or landing -- just if the seat belt light were on for turbulence.See the upside, and always wear your parachute! -- Christopher Titus Shut Up & Jump! Phil1111 1,149 #116 May 12, 2017 Nicole Harper, a Missouri woman, shared her story on Facebook about her experience with United Airlines during a flight from Kansas City to Houston when attendants allegedly denied her bathroom use and joked that she should pee in a cup. “While allowing other passengers to get up and use the restroom on a seemingly uneventful flight, United Airlines crew wouldn’t allow me to get up and use the restroom until the pilot turned off the seat belt sign,” Harper wrote on her Facebook. “After explaining that I have an overactive bladder and would either need to use the restroom or pee in a cup, I was handed a cup by flight attendants.” Harper also shared that the incident happened the same day as Dr. Dao’s ordeal but on a different flight... A United spokesperson spoke to Fortune and denied the claims saying, “At no point during the flight did flight attendants suggest that Ms. Harper use cups instead of the lavatory.” http://people.com/chica/united-airlines-responds-to-claim-that-woman-was-forced-to-pee-in-cup/
TriGirl 318 #117 May 12, 2017 That tells me that they had started beverage service, and were not going to move the cart right away, likely asking her to wait until they had gotten past her. If they were "allowing" other passengers to get up, but not her, then only something physically blocking her in her seat would have prevented her from just getting up. If they then handed her a cup when she made the comment (get up or pee in a cup), then a cup was readily at hand.See the upside, and always wear your parachute! -- Christopher Titus Shut Up & Jump! tigra 0 #118 May 13, 2017 I don't even know how a woman could pee in a cup on a plane while remaining in her seat or aisle. There is so little room! I guess I know people who could but I couldn't do it! Regardless, this reminds me of the Gerard Depardieux (so?) story from a few years ago. Airlines have allowed members of their flight crews to become bullies and when they're called out they claim it's all in the interest of "national security". Humiliating a passenger with a bladder or prostate problem does nothing to protect the rest of us.
