What an idiot. 200 miles of travel is approximately 130 feet. Well short of the claimed "five miles." Proof the world is not flat."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." No, the figure of 5 miles is correct (it is about 8 inches per mile, but it doesn't increase linearly). Expecting that the level would change in this way is of course ridiculously silly. Good thing he didn't fly from Los Angeles to London. If the pilot had "dropped the nose to compensate for the curvature of the Earth" along that distance he'd need a ladder to get out of his seat. Why bring a level? My gin and tonic stays perfectly flat through most flights. PROOF! This guy sucks as a scientist.
tigra 0 #6 May 23, 2017 I believe the internet has already established that if the world were flat, cats would have knocked everything off of it by now. In my personal experience I have no doubt that is 100% true.
riggerrob 643 #7 May 23, 2017 Just look at the vast expanses of sea water and ice that prevent you from driving or sailing to the poles. If the poles were as real as scientists claim, everyone would be able to visit them. As for airlines claiming that they fly over the North Pole .... I saw dozens fly over CFS Alert the summer I worked there. .. their flights prove that the earth is one big flat disc. Odd how airlines never brag about flying over the South Pole????? Makes you wonder if the South Pole even exists.
