irishrigger 32 #1 March 15, 2017 A very Sad day for the Irish coast Guards. the Rescue116 Helicopter crashed yesterday morning about 5-6 miles off shore while assisting another Rescue helicopter. the Female Captain was found alive at first light but unfortunately passed away shortly after arriving at the hospital. her other 3 crew members are still missing. all Coast Guards all over the World do a fantastic Job saving Thousands of lives. it really hits home when it happens to them.
