skyjames 2 #1 February 7, 2017 Before I post my long version, I thought it might help me to know if anyone else had experienced this issue with their iphone, Siri in particular. I've done the research and know why it happened in my case ... but ... Has Siri ever just started talking to you with no query or input on your part? quade 4 #2 February 7, 2017 No. This should only happen under very specific conditions. 1. Siri's "Hey Siri" feature would have to be turned on. 2. The user's phone would have to be plugged into a charger (on pre-iPhone 7 models). 3. The user didn't train Siri to recognize the user's voice. 4 Something in the background noise would have to trigger it by sounding like the wake up and listen command, "Hey Siri", followed by at least some other gibberish. This should be an extremely rare occurrence.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
