DrSher 0 #1 September 17, 2016 Hi again guys.. I am looking for the DZ with best climbing wall and soccer league. If there is any interest, I would love to organize one. Could be great for kids as well. Soccer is great on days with waiting and right after SS load. There is still lots of time to learn it..
JohnMitchell 16 #2 September 18, 2016 Pacific Skydiving in Hawaii gets some nice kickball games going on bad weather days. That's as fun as soccer, right? I also find myself climbing the walls on long weather holds.
DrSher 0 #3 September 18, 2016 Awesome dude!! Have you been to the black rock in Maui? You can boulder there and do some low-level DWS and snorkel at same place. WE are going there to do some solo later on and I also would like some quality climbers to come and give my daughter some lessons. What is "kickball"? Sorry (and don't kill me for this), nothing is more awesome than soccer. not even skydiving, LOL There is still lots of time to learn it..
JohnMitchell 16 #4 September 18, 2016 DrSher Awesome dude!! Have you been to the black rock in Maui? You can boulder there and do some low-level DWS and snorkel at same place. Never spent much time on Maui. We're not climbers either, but I've bet they've got some great places. Love to snorkel. Quote What is "kickball"? Sorry (and don't kill me for this), nothing is more awesome than soccer. not even skydiving, LOL Kickball is like baseball, only the pitcher rolls a kickable rubber ball, similar to a soccer ball, to the "batter" at home plate. They kick the ball to put it into play, and from there they run the bases and score runs just as in baseball. More of a beloved kids' game in the U.S. I loved playing soccer as a kid, but as a typical American I prefer our version of football even more.
DrSher 0 #5 September 18, 2016 I actually enjoyed watching base ball when I could understand it, but "football" I will NEVER get. Too slow and too much break in flow. Too much impact.. Remember, America has the number two (in the world) of active soccer players and young kids entering the sport now. I want to see USA win WC in my life time. The Black Rock in Maui is a great introduction to DWS. Most skydivers love it and you can even bring your kids. They have boats in water like the base jumpers above bridges. You can snorkel right below and outside of the rock. Then in Norway there is a DWS site where there is a 5.12 something safely as well. In PNW I am looking for places on the San Juan islands.. Let me know if you go there and try it out. There is still lots of time to learn it..
