davjohns 1 #3151 September 5, 2009 Good morning Bry! I'm back in the states! It is an incredible morning!I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

Ketia0 0 #3156 September 5, 2009 First off. my pattern SUCKED!!!! should have planned that out ALOT better before takeoff! I was on the crosswind leg of my pattern at 100 feet. i was trying to turn left so i could be facing into the wind.. when i did the turn ( i tried a slow flat turn) the canopy dove. i let up fast on the toggles, and it dove harder!! gave it a VERY full and fast flare. helped.. but not much. hit hard. i tumbled over and got dragged for 15-20 feet. that sucked!!! skydiverbry 0 #3157 September 5, 2009 Just read your post in the other thread! Seems like you did make a few mistakes there but I'm hoping you learned from them!! I'm not one to give out alot of advice on this place as you know...but I think all the major thing were covered in the other thread. Why didn't you PLF????? Are you sure you did not substain any serious back injuries...I know how bad they suck...believe me I know and you know the extent of my injuries to my back Bry-------------------------------------------------- Growing old is mandatory.Growing up is optional!! davjohns 1 #3175 September 5, 2009 Just got back from a one year deployment to Iraq which was preceded by three months at Ft. Riley, KS. Fifteen months total away from skydiving, hang gliding, family, friends, etc. Glad to be back. GF is in the air right now to see me. Hope everyone has as good a day as mine, but it's so unlikely. :)I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..
