Amazon 7 #2 February 18, 2016 Personally I like having my parachute... when I am going 300 MPH... but deploying above the recommended speed on the damn thing REALLLLY HURTS

The ONE time I borrow a pro-track and go hell-bent on going as fast as I possibly can, and pull out of the dive at 4000 feet, I was still going way too fast when I dumped. Friends on the ground clearly heard the whack of my Triathlon. Ow... sonofaBITCH!!! IIRC the top speed on the pro track said 224mph. Not bad for that one time for a 5'-6" 150 lb dude in a normal jumpsuit."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
MikeJD 0 #4 February 18, 2016 DouglasBader No sh*t, there I was, 300 mph, and no parachute... What about the time you had to leave one of your prosthetic legs behind in order to bail out of that crippled Spitfire?
JohnMitchell 16 #5 February 18, 2016 Ouch, taking the barrier like that really hurts, but I'm glad he did it right. Did he get a pincheck before he lit 'em up?
ryoder 1,590 #6 February 18, 2016 So I wonder what the total cost of damages was to the two cars on that run? "There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones.
