promise5 17 #1 January 24, 2016 I developed a pretty serious nut allergy and its crossed over to avacados too. But something new has started. I'm getting a tighting of my throat and what feels like the start of a reaction when I drink coffee. When it starts I just take a low dose allergy tablet and I feel fine. Anyone else have this? I'm stumped on why it's starting to act up with coffee. No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried.

FlyingRhenquest 1 #18 January 26, 2016 Mom has trouble with avacados and latex. She insists that some doctor told her they're chemically similar. The reaction she describes sounds pretty similar. What's the allergy tablet you take for it? She usually finds that Benedryl provides a good bit of relief if she gets into something she shouldn't have. Down side of that is Benedryl does tend to make her pretty drowsy, so she's pretty much out for the rest of the day after that. She's a severe caffeine addict though. She's seemed like she's been allergic to a lot of things over the years, but I wonder if it might not all just trace back to that. I don't think she's ever been tested for it. I've never actually heard of anyone being allergic to coffee before. Congratulations on being the first. Do you know if it's caffeine in general or something else in coffee? Because you could have a promising career as a Red Bull spokesperson. Just sayin'... sometimes you gotta play the hand you're dealt!I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here?
promise5 17 #19 January 26, 2016 I'm allergic to avacados but not latex. I was taking a generic form of Bendryl and it did make me feel off. Oh it's coffee the Dr gave me two different shots one for coffee and the other caffeine. The caffeine was fine. I reacted to the coffee one. The Dr said it not real common to develop a coffee allergy but it does happen. No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried.
