Probably FULLY with Bill's knowledge/permission.

Don't know if this is within "San Joquin County" maybe, or not (not from the area) - but again, CLEARLY Lodi.

Actually, there is a graphic in the beginning of the piece that says "San Joaquin County". Lodi is located in San Joaquin County.

Also at the end of the show there is a disclaimer: "To protect the repo men, debtors and property, key identifying information has been changed and select dramatizations employed." The whole Lodi location/aircraft thingy could fit under that description.

I don't recall the year but me n my freefly partner were at the 1st Kathy Dause fan club event at Lodi. A lot of beer got drank, all the fuel for the turbines got used, and depression set in as we realized we were done jumping... so we started drinking more beer to console ourselves and suddenly there was THUNDER ... they fired up the DC-3 - jumping was back on, quickly sobering ourselves with tic tacs we ran for manifest.

at just under 2k all the locals started putting helmets on and tightening straps - I was confused so I asked a local "hey, whats up? does this thing climb that fast?" he replied "no m8, he's gonna switch tanks and sometimes it doesn't pickup... :o --- say whaa?

Jumping out brought to me the realization that I hadn't really ever experienced prop blast, wow that bitch has a mean punch :)
our jumpsuits and rigs were splattered with oil, I didn't care as I loved that airplane right away - my partner was extremely butthurt over it and whined for weeks...that pussy

what a cool airplane

100 percent of this particular repo story falls under that disclaimer.

We got the script about three weeks before shooting started in June. The cast and crew spent four days filming. They hired a local free fall photographer for the free fall shots and shots inside the plane. Local jumpers were hired as extras and multiple scenarios were shot.

I can understand a non-skydiver thinking this is real but come on people, this is entertainment. "Reality" just means it wasn't shot on a set.

Bill still has all three Otters as well as the other planes. The first post was right. You can't make a loan payment on a million dollar plane with $15 jump tickets. Bill does, and always will, own all his planes outright.

it's still on.
and just as ridiculous as ever I know one thing .if you let me stand 15 or 20 yards from your Cessna while you try to get in it and taxi away .and I got a 40 cal with full metal jackets in it .
and a full clip you would not want to bet your life on me not being able to hit you or the engine before you can get out there and taxi off. I like how the guy signed a waiver to show his face while he was committing a felony:S and the way they showed the bullet holes right at the end of a steep angle for millisecond so you couldn't tell they were decals

i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . My response. Naw I wasn't low I'm just such a big guy I look closer than I really am .

Idk what the guy was supposed to be using. I just threw that out there as I have a 40 s&w and Cessna's ain't know for their armor:P
