MikeJD 0 #27 April 30, 2012 Quote Opinions on Marmite or its ozzie cousin vegemite? It's not something that you can be neutral about. I love Marmite, although you have to spread it super thin - too much will make you feel pretty sick. I have it just with toast, or under cheese on toast. And I sometimes throw a dollop of it into sauces. I like Twiglets too, not surprisingly. Never tried Vegemite, but I do have a soft spot for the song Down Under, which is probably the only point of reference for most of the world. Edited to add: Marmite's 'love it or hate it' TV campaign was pure genius. My favourite was the one where the guy and girl arrive back at her place and she disappears briefly into the kitchen. As soon as they start snogging on the sofa he begins to gag, and then the view cuts away to her half-eaten marmite snack. To base an ad campaign for a food product on the fact that it makes some people feel physically sick...

popsjumper 2 #29 April 30, 2012 Yes, you brought me some Marmite and the thought was very touching. However, you are right...I did not care for it and so I voted as such. But, I will extend a note of thanks for posting this poll. It has helped me tremendously. It has let me know just who the real crazies are - the ones that like it. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239
