I've only been up there one time, but they bent over backwards accommodating my all-deaf demo team's jump into the state school for the deaf in Flint that ultimately was cancelled at the last second due to winds. Good folks up there.

If the airport is federally funded, the DZ can fight the airport successfully, with USPA's help.
